Biography

Professor Perkowski received his M.S. degree in electronics in 1970 and his PhD degree in automatic control in 1980 He has been on the faculty of Warsaw Technical University, The University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea. He has been a Visiting Faculty Member at the Technical University of Eindhoven, The Netherlands, the University of Montpellier, France, and Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan. He worked as a Summer Professor at Intel, GTE, and Sharp, and was a Consultant to several companies including Cypress Semiconductor. Dr. Perkowski is the Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Multiple-Valued Logic. Dr. Perkowski has published over 100 journal and conference papers. Senior Member IEEE and Member Association for Computing Machinery.
